We've been having very wet, cold and windy weather. For the first time that I can remember the ground is actually wet and not like rock. Today I planted out some conifers, a pencil pine and a native conifer looking tree whose name I don't know but i have always wanted to have one growing at my place and now I do.
The chooks have been off the lay for at least two weeks totally but today I got 2, yes thats two eggs from my 12 chooks. Well, I shouldn't call Fluffy a chook because I don't think that she's ever laid an egg, she's sort of a pet. The seven brown hens are the good layers and so is the small white hen. Not sure about the big Suffolk girls and the Plymouth, well she sure looks like a hen, but you know... OK, guess which one's Fluffy?
A couple of weeks ago we were snowed in and I was going to post a photo just didn't get around to doing it so today is the day.The first photo is snow on the road to Queanbeyan. Looks like I can't find the photos, will post them when I get a hold of them.

LOL!!! i loved reading that you got heaps of rain and all about your chooks.......but by far the funniest is that you lost the photo..... now.....the question is do you have picasa? if not trust me.... get it... (free download google)....keep warm and dry and MORE PICS PLEASE!
no I don't have Picasa, Wendy. I use my computer and also Photobucket but find it takes for ever for photos to download onto the site and then from there on to blogspot.
